Daejeon, Korea South, 10th Oct 2024 – Tebahsoft Inc., the operator of ‘Seamspace,’ a platform supporting youth mental health and school teachers’ life guidance, announced that it is planning to expand its reach globally thanks to seed funding. This investment reflects the high growth potential of Tebahsoft in the field of youth mental care.
Seamspace also offers a dashboard feature for teachers, allowing them to monitor the psychological state of their class and manage students more effectively through group analysis. This feature helps teachers understand students’ mental conditions in detail and provide appropriate support.
Tebahsoft is a startup that developed ‘Seamspace,’ a tool utilizing AI technology to provide Social and Emotional Learning (SEL). Within just five months of launching the platform, it has secured 6,600 paid users. Notably, Seamspace’s technology, which analyzes students’ ‘mind diary’ and extracts emotions, has achieved 98% accuracy, a result verified by third-party testing at a KOLAS-accredited institution.
Speaking to the media, one of the investors in Seamspace said, “According to the Ministry of Health and Welfare (2024), 1 in 5 Korean youths has experienced a mental disorder. While numerous IT-based solutions are emerging to address this issue, Tebahsoft is expected to lead the market with its strong customer engagement and optimized technology.”
Following the successful seed funding, Tebahsoft plans to develop a journaling-based digital mental health therapeutic tool. This innovative tool will allow adolescents to record and analyze their mental health and receive necessary guidance.
Additionally, Tebahsoft has already developed both student and teacher versions in English in preparation for its global expansion, initially targeting international schools in Korea and private schools in the United States. The company is also accelerating its technical development to strengthen the competitiveness of its solution by expanding its AI engine functions (e.g., chatbot, multimodal) and developing its own small LLM specialized in children’s emotion analysis.
Tebahsoft will take its first step onto the global stage this October by participating in SOCAP (Social Capital Markets) 2024, the world’s largest impact investment conference. Furthermore, at CES 2025, the company will showcase ‘Seamspace’ in the U.S. market, marking the start of its full-scale global expansion.
