New Regulatory Updates to Create Thousands of Digital Accessibility Jobs

In a historic shift towards digital accessibility, recent updates to ADA Title II and Section 504 regulations now require that websites, web content, and mobile apps conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA, a technical standard for web accessibility. This requirement impacts state and local governments and healthcare providers across the United States, creating a significant demand for digital accessibility expertise.

The new rules updating Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act are designed to prevent discrimination on the basis of disability.
