OnePlus fans have been demanding a smartwatch from the organization throughout recent years, and 2021 will be the year that at long last delivers it. Before that occurs, however, the “OnePlus Band” fitness tracker is apparently set to debut.
The people over at Android Central report that at some point in Q1 2021, OnePlus will release a fitness tracker that will be known as the “OnePlus Band.” This is clearly a different gadget from the organization’s forthcoming smartwatch offering a fitness-focused, barebones experience.
This “OnePlus Band” is a competitor to the Xiaomi Mi Band series which everyone has covered already. Damien Wilde called the latest Xiaomi Mi Band 5 a “winning formula” that delivers a great piece of functionality for a very low price. OnePlus’ fitness tracker will obviously attempt to use that equivalent formula with a price point around $40 or thereabouts while using an OLED display, offering water resistance, and multi-day battery life while having the option to track basic fitness stats.
It’s muddled if this implies the fitness tracker and smartwatch will be declared by OnePlus around a similar time, yet reasonably, this fitness tracker will purportedly debut in India first before heading to different regions.
